In coordination with 350.org, Sierra Club, and PlanIt4Planet we are organizing buses to bring folks from Detroit to Washington, DC, on February 17th for the Forward on Climate Rally – the largest climate rally in American history. 2013 must be the year of climate solutions and the President of the United States must refuse to approve the Keystone XL pipeline and lead the way Forward on Climate.

Buses will leave from the SW corner of the Southfield Civic Center(same plaza as the Southfield Police Dept. and Southfield City Hall) at 26000 Evergreen Rd Southfield, MI 48076 at10pm on Saturday February 16^th arriving in DC the following morning. We will be dropped off right by the Washington Monument, near the rally point, and will be picked up from the same location. All participants will be provided information on the bus including the bus captains phone number, name of the bus/bus #, departure time, and any other pertinent info. The rally begins at 12 noon on Sunday, February 17th, and buses will depart Washington DC at 7PM and arrive back in Southfield early Monday morning around 4am. We will email you with addittional information regarding travel details. 

Sierra Club is generously subsidizing the cost of this bus so we are able to offer the majority of our tickets at a reduced price of $45.00 a piece for all who want to be at this histroic rally and march. We will do our best to get everyone to DC that wants to come! If this is out of your price range consider applying for a ticket scholarship or let us know what would work with your budget by emailing Planit4planet@gmail.com.
